Bankable Feasibility
Studies by Resources Gold Technology
Resources Gold Technologies offers
bankable feasibility studies to owner / operators who have completed
pre-feasibility studies and metallurgical study and are ready to proceed with
final project evaluation. Preliminary work can also be included as part of a
bankable feasibility study.
Bankable feasibility studies are
the highest level of project evaluation in the form of a study. These
investigations and reports form the basis for implementation of a gold mining
project and the construction of a gold processing plant. In many cases, these
studies are used by owners as the basis for raising capital finance to construct
a gold processing plant. All technical and financial aspects of a potential
project are investigated during a bankable feasibility study.
Due to the extensive nature of a
bankable feasibility study these investigations typically take several months to
complete. During this bankable study, the process flow sheet is refined and
mathematically the mass, water and gold balances are modeled. Water and energy
requirements are determined as well as anticipated consumption of reagents. Once
this is complete, the bankable feasibility study progresses to produce a
detailed costing combined with a financial analysis, operational and capital
expenditure.
Bankable feasibility studies
produce expected construction programs and investigate transport and site
logistics in detail. Cash flow requirements are analyzed together with projected
project repayment periods and revenue generation in various financial models.
Key suppliers are identified as well as manpower requirements for construction
and operation of the gold processing plant. In certain cases where large capital
outlay is involved, owners may choose to construct and operate a pilot plant to
confirm the outcome of the bankable feasibility study.
