Dewatering Plants by Resources Gold Technology
Dewatering Plants are designed to perform highly effective solid liquid separation
for process water recovery while producing both thickened slurry for mine backfill
operations and filter cake for transport to a surface fill operation. The following
major process equipment items comprise the dewatering plant:
-
High Rate Tailings Thickener.
-
Resources Flocculant Plant.
-
Horizontal Belt Filter.
-
Vacuum Pump Skid and Filtrate Receiver With Accessories.
-
Agitated Thickener Underflow Holding Tank – Live Capacity of 8 Hours of
Storage.
-
Process Water Return Tank And Pumps.
-
Open Air Steel Structure with Metal Roof.
-
Concrete Tailings, Stacking And Loading Pad For Belt Filter
Product.
-
Slewing Conveyor – For Stacking of Belt Filter Product into Trucks or
onto Stacking Pad.
Resources Dewatering Plants are designed for maximum flexibility of operation. Key
operational features include:
-
Surge tank with an 8 hour surge capacity from the 30% tank level to
accommodate
fluctuations in belt filter production and maintenance.
-
Horizontal belt filter sized for the entire tailings production of the
plant to facilitate sending full production to a surface fill operation
if needed.
-
Extra belt filter area to draw down the surge tank when the surge
capacity has been used and the tank is full.
-
Filter bypass to facilitate sending entire production to mine
backfill.
Resources Dewatering Plants can be located remotely or adjacent to gold mining
processing facilities. In many cases Dewatering Plants are located close to a
Backfill Plant or surface fill operation. Resources Dewatering Plants are
constructed with proven process equipment using Resources international supplier
base to produce exceptional solid liquid separation performance.
