Metallurgical Engineer responsible for
Process Design and Process Engineering activities for New and Existing Projects in
the Extractive Metallurgical field. Will
be expected to work both in conjunction with and in an assistant capacity to the
current Senior Metallurgical Engineer / Chief Technology
Officer.

DUTY REQUIREMENTS
INCLUDE

Supervision of
specialized Mineral Processing Equipment installations and
Commissioning.

Business
Development and Technical Promotion of Specialized Mineral Processing
Equipment.

Supervision of
Project Metallurgical Process Engineering and Operations.
-
Supervision of
capital equipment replacement parts sales, installations and
promotions.
-
Will at times supervise and/or assist
in the supervision of the work of approximately 10 other employees or
sub-contractors.
-
Travel to other parts of the USA or
foreign countries to meet with clients for various
projects.Onsite visits also
necessary for erection and commissioning of
plants. Applicant must have valid passport at all
times.
EDUCATIONAL
REQUIREMENTS
B.S., B.Sc., B.Tech, NHD or other
suitable Tertiary Qualification in Mineral Processing / Extractive Metallurgy
preferably with a focus on the extractive metallurgy of
gold.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS
At least 10 years’ experience in extractive metallurgical operations, project
engineering, metallurgical design in the Au, Cu or base metal extractive industries
and at least 3 years’ experience in major capital extractive metallurgical
projects.
OTHER
A background check may be
required.
WAGE
A
competitive industry related remuneration package will be
negotiated.
WORK HOURS PER
WEEK: 40 hours
weekly. 9 - 5:00
pm daily. Additional working hours may be required based on order intake.
Foreign travel may be required from time to time.
